I have been in the instructional design/learning experience design field for 5 years, and I keep using my design thinking, analytical thinking, data, technologies, and empathy to create the best possible learning experience for users.
My design work for online courses, apps, games, videos, and websites combines diligent UX research, various instructional theories, real-world knowledge, and comprehensive product design.
All of my work begins with gathering data so that my deliverables fully address my audiences' real problems and needs. Throughout the development process, I use design thinking, to scaffold content, craft learning objectives, and brainstorm narratives/storylines.
This iterative creative process helps me to design engaging/interactive learning experiences that are user first. My building process ends by measuring success for the learner so I can gauge what worked well and proved challenging and to inform future content development.
